Without the broadhead cutting the path, the foam grabs the arrow shaft.

For several years I used small 1" adhesive spots for bulls, wrongly thinking it would improve my shooting. I went to 3" stickers and my groups tightened.

The 3/4" dots(Green in Pic) are extremely hard to hold on. The 1-1/4" are much easier to relax on, which is really what you need to do. On the other hand, it could be that me and Bowman are just older and don't see that good and so the bigger dots help us. ;-)

I use a 3' x 3' piece of foam that was used to float a boat dock and we used mild jug lids as bulls. it worked pretty good and was cheap

That'll work out real well for field points. I had a Morrell bag target, lasted 4 years, I just replaced the cover every year. That one you ordered is real nice with all those dots to spread out the shots. Did you order it from them?

yeah i ordered it from them. i love the 16 dots on one side. i will have 14 cx300's, 6 acc's, and 10 beman ics400's. so ill have plenty of arrows. i havent shot the bemans in quite a while. also orderd a sts rear mount today. i want to see for myself if its any good. there are guys taking the 4 string silencers off the tribute and putting this on and swear its faster, has less shock and is quiter.

If I had a Bowtech I'd get the STS for sure. But then the only things I'd have on my string would be a string loop and a trupeep. Guys on the Mathews forum say that when they put the STS on their Bowtechs they're as quiet as the Mathews. Did you get limbsavers?

I'm not sure. I think you got the wrong size ACCs. I'm quite sure the ones I shoot will perform favorably against any shaft when comparing accuracy, penetration, and range all in one bucket. Doesn't look like I'm going to make the forum hunt at this point. I'm hoping for an end of season hunt and possibly combine it with the Baltimore Trad Event but even that's up in the air right now.

I just ordered that Morrell Super Duper as well. $5 shipping is a good deal. I just ruined 3 Goldtips yesterday shooting groups. The 16 dots and the thickness of the target sold me on it.
