ESHOREMD,
I doubt that will help ya any, Im a good teacher but I can't teach you how to be lucky, except spend more time trying to be lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can tell ya that big buck opertunity's rarely occur but when they do, you get one shot too close the deal, so you better be ready. I can go all year and never see a big buck that Im hunting, just knowing he excists is enough to keep me going. That is if he still exsists!!!!!
Quick story: Two years ago in Wis. I had a 160" 10 pt buck bed 45 yards from me 9:30 in the morning, Locked me in my tree the whole day, he got up at 3:35 and never presented me a shot, came to full draw 3 times on him but never released. I hunted the next 3 days , passed several deer I should have shot hunting for him, only to find out at 4:45 that same evening a hunter on the ajasin property had killed him that very evening of the day he locked me down. I was hart broke I could have gone my whole life not knowing that. He grossed 166 neted 159 just a dandy of a buck. But I learned alot from that experience , to much to tell now but an incredible week in the woods it was. I came home empty handed but full of BIg buck Knowledge.

You may say that now , but If you know a 160 class buck is around and a 115 incher walks out, you'll most likely let it walk. I passed a mighty fine buck in Ohio last year but he will be around and bigger this year. To my knowledge the one I saw is still around and should be a monster this year no doubt. I just hope to see him the same amount of times as last year..., I got a plan this year ;D Back to the contest, I am extending the time to join until Sept 29th , although I'm pretty sure most have entered that will. On Sept 30th I will let Erika pick the names from a hat to determine teams. I will post rules this evening in a seperate post. If you have'nt signed up you still can. Don't be shy folks
