tell tim good job on his second bird. I can't seem to get the job done on a big bird this year so far. closest yet this morning out back. had the bird coming in and gobbling . it came within shooting range and was behind a tree, one or two more steps and it was dusted. it must have spotted me somehow because it ran and flew off . it was within 2 seconds of its life ending. oh well i got all the goodies from the hunt with the exception of the meat . what an adrenaline rush this stuff is

lol i may need some help before its all done . i'm on birds everyday so sooner or later the right ones gonna come by and it will all come together. the fox pics didnt come out due to my batteries ran out on the camera when i was taking them. i do have some i took the other night when me,barb and erika went down. they wanted to check them out and we did get to see some of them. if you come down saturday, i wouldnt go back to the same spot, i know of 4 birds now outta that spot, so it may not be healthy for the flock i'm gonna leave it be for this year now..i know of a few more spots around.

i know there were at least 4 males in there last year. i havent hunted it this year. hit the soft pines where i showed you if you dont get any action early by the field. i'll try and get down there sometime in the next evening or two and put my ears on see if i can hear a gobble or 2
