I have a Knight Inline , I like it ok but it isnt nothing fancy like TCA's. I had another but sold it cheap to my brother so he could get a few more days in. I did have a few problems last year with the pyrodex pellets in it, a few delayed shots and back to the xxx .I guess I need to go to the larger primer. what blackpowder guns do you own or use. My next will be a pistol. Rick

I have a couple of .50cal Knight rifles.
Top of the line in my opinion. Near 30-30 performance in a .50 cal.
I don't shoot em near as much as I should and I can't lay reason to it except perhaps lazyness. It's so easy to just grab a 22 or a pellet gun to shoot.
My youngest son really likes shooting the guns but he could care less about performance at this stage. He likes the big holes the 50 puts in the target board with buffalo bullets, maxi-balls, etc.
Guess I should get some 50cal round balls for him to play with. Might be a little cheaper.

When I'm carrying a gun, it's a muzzleloader. They are so much fun to play with compared to a CF or shotgun, I just can't resist. I shoot an Encore ML, but lately have gotten hooked on White ML's for deer hunting, both pistols and rifles.

I did break down and bought a Knight DISC 50 cal. to see what all the hoop-la was about a few years back. Deadly accurate ! But I still much prefer the ol smoke pole flinter. 54 cal.

I've got a CVA 209 hunter-mag, (you know ,one of them Wally world specials). An absolute tack driver. 50 cal. using 2 Cleanshot pellets, and Hornaday XTP sabots. Shot clean thru a nice 7 pointer last season at about 75 yards. At first I thought it missed him, because I could see where the bullet hit a tree. Then when I got up there, I realized, that tree was behind him when I shot. Found him not 25 yards away.

I have three...
My newest addition is a TC Omega stainless in 50cal.
My others include a Remington 54 stainless and a TC System 1 (Firehawk) in 58 cal.
My load set up for elk and mulies on the Omega is a 295 gr aerotip PB in front of 100 grs of APP 3f. My 58 tosses out 555 gr maxiballs with 120 gr of Pyrodex select. Since we can't use scopes out here during our muzzleloader season and the factory sights kinda hinder any decent shots beyond 50 yds or so, I went with a William's peepsight and a crosshair front sight primarily for a Ruger 10-22 with a new dovetail ramp. Sure makes it a heck of alot easier.

If you do a search under KNS sights, you can be directed to some other pages. Midway shooting supply has the sights and the dovetail ramp for mounting the crosshair. it's a pretty slick system, especially since we can only use iron sights out here and the visibility is somewhat limited with the factory sights. I also picked up a .125 aperture for increased light transmission, espcially when hunting the dark timber for those bulls that are hard to get to. If you have an Omega, i could probably give you the part numbers. One small problem: I had to shim up the rear sight just a weeee bit and get other screws to bed into the barrel. A buddy works for Boeing and his machinist buddy also has an Omega and the screws and shims were calibrated and made. We're using a titanium screw and shim to accomodate the peep. This new set up is extremely accurate.

I'm putting the sights together as there isn't really a kit to do it. Just some trial and error and some measuring. Check under Midway Shooting Supply.
