the month of may for me didnt show a whole lot of promise, i saw very few deer out on a normal basis. could be due to the birthing of fawns by does or just a coincidence.

pretty much same for me.

Most of the fields are relatively bare and with all the tender greens in the cutdowns, the deer aren't as obvious.

Here's what it looks like where deer haven't picked it clean;



They go after it readily until the stalks start turning red.

the soybeans have just come up here in the past few days. I'm seeing more deer out in the fields this week.
