its snowing here.. i hit the woods and watched it snow for the last hour of daylight. never saw anything but it sure was quiet. nothing like a gentle snowfall in the woods to soothe the nerves .

I saw one already in the field next to my spot but thought it was a button buck. I went on in and up. In short order one came along but in low light I couldn't tell what it was for sure and it quickly got thru my shot lines. Wish I could head out to 3" of fresh snow in the morning.

It's killing me. I've got too much work to do to go out and play in the snow with the deer right now. After spending 8 days bowhunting in Ohio, I can't exactly complain, either. It's supposed to snow again friday evening, and I hope to hunt fri nite & sat.

went out mostly to check tracks in areas where i spotted good bucks. i am pleased that i saw several good signs that a few made it through the gun season.the one i have been hunting went by before light but left his tracks behind
