I didn't say they're easy to find. I said that being privately owned, they're livestock. I figure that if a rancher can introduce new genes to increase antler size, he's selectively breeding his 'cattle'. If he charges a shooter to butcher his livestock, more power to him. It's part of business to him and he has a right to control his stock and try to make a profit as he sees fit.
You're missing my point, though, which is that lots of guys on these forums get all tied up in knots about the mere thought of high fences, no matter how big the pasture. They scream and froth at the mouth when they even think about going through a gate to hunt. I just don't let it bother me. I don't hunt any fenced areas (they're illegal in Idaho, anyway) and I don't care anything about the rules for including them in the record books.
