I heard one tom last night. I didn't see many any tracks at all, but I sure could take a few yotes if I wanted to hunt them. > I know the area area he is in. All the way back next to the river at Mekee Besheers and I know there are allot of birds there but it's still way to early for them here. Usualy I go byt the blooming of the dog wood to know when their ready to start up.

If you wait for the dogwoods here Hawk you'll miss half the spring season. When the dogwoods are blooming the gobblers are booming for certain, but thats just a generalized statement. Toms start gobling daily long before the dogwoods bloom.
