I was helping my crew out this afternoon and got caught up enough to take a stroll thru the woods behind the job. there was a path going back into about an acre of young pines and I could see decidious timber on the other side. I got off the path and took a ditch bank on back wanting to ease up to the more open woods for a peek. Once I got up there I saw the path I was on earlier came right to it. I got to wondering why I decided to leave the path since it would have been quieter and easier just to stay on it. The wind. I can't help it I guess. I hunt into the wind so much I can't even seem to take a walk without slipping to the downwind side. You guys ever catch yourself doing that for no apparant reason?

Yep, yesterday I evening I found myself tracking a big bird on Turkey foot , Started on a deer trail and saw a few scratching and the bird seemed to stay in a small area in the morning. I think I can will beablew to bring him in. Man he's has got to be hugh ! the deapth of his tracks and size are larger than any big I have seem befor. Anyway I wound up walking the creek back and also found some very interisting crossings due to new fallen trees in the woods. Alan, there are some hugh tacks , that may interist you . LOL
