This morning I went out at 5:30, found the area I scouted last night at the end of a long draw with fields on both sides. !st off I here a hen and then another. Then a hen few down into the 2 deck's and then I saw one wakeing up about 40 yards from me on the roost. I yelp'ed a few times and then this 4" 2 year old came from behind me and went stright for the jake deck. I waylayed him at 15yards. I didn't hear a gooble one. But I figured he was the one for me. At 6:45 I was done and on my way to the checking station. Only 8 birds have been checked in sence Monday. >I'd post a pic but you all know what a 2 year old looks like LOL

Thanks John, you were the man who set me stight on birds. Charley was ammaized that I scouted out the birds and found myself sitting under them. I told him I had a great teacher. >I herd one hen this morning on turkey foot. and I had a very courous deer walk in to see what the yelps were. I also found a great deer ground location up against a hugh popular next to the creek.
