I've got a few pics from last year I haven't posted. This is an opening day tom from the blueberry tract This is a late season tom that landed right in front of me and died about 10 seconds after his feet hit the ground. The way its supposed to happen. Gobble, Land, strut, die. This is one of the two toms I killed on the last day of the season to fill my last tag. These two toms died on a foggy morning last year. Came running to the guns straight off the limb. I killed this bird on the last day of the season at 3:00 in the afternoon. It was a good end to a good season.

I wish I had taken pics of all the birds I killed. Hell there was probably 7 seasons of dead toms that I never took a picture of .Turkey hunting was just not all that popular around here when I started hunting. I did find a pics from my first toms back in the day. These are my first two toms killed at least 10 years ago on the same river tract that we hunt today. I have seen a many of bird die on thid piece of ground. The birds are a little rough looking but it is hard for a ten year old kid to carry two boss toms 200 yards across a field.
