personally haven't seen hide nor hair of a turkey since the season ended last month, i know a few of ya'll have had sightings of poults from this year, i haven't seen a one, but thats pretty typical, since not being in the woods looking for them, and i almost never see my first poult untill well into june around here, but the question is this, are you all expecting a good hatch this year in your areas??? and have you had good weather up untill now??? seems like durring the critical hatch period around here, things were very good, weather was warm and dry!!! that dosen't mean the coyotes weren't getting a belly full of feathers though !! and judging from how vocal the yotes have been, around the house at night,, the last few months, one has to wonder !!

It was good weather around here for the hatch this year but the number of coyotes in our area has increased substantially. I have personally seen several groups of poults this year already and hope they can stay away from the yotes.

I've seen several poults thus far, but have heard a lot of stories on nests getting destroyed by bush hogging of hay. Overall I think we've had a good hatch this spring in West Ky. The weather has been pretty cooperative and the rivers have stayed within their banks.
I seen a nice group of 5 toms Tuesday on my property in Indiana. Kinda got the blood boiling a bit.
