Turkey are much more vision oriented than deer so I try to match the the cover I'm likely to encounter each hunt. I like predator fall brown for deer hunting but often I'll choose a 'busier' pattern for turkey.
Do you pay more attention to your camo for turkey hunting and if so, what's your favorite camo pattern?

I ussually start out with my darker mossy oak at the beggining of the season. as it gets greener, i go with my realtree green. i've had situations where you would swear they are gonna bust ya and they don't. then other times i've been busted from all the way across a field, where you would never think they could even see you. movement again plays a big role in getting busted or not. they do have much better eyesight than deer, i'm just glad they can't scent ya. they would be much harder to get if they could smell ya too.

I moved to Mossy Oak Obsession for most all of my Spring turkey hunts.
Exception is if we are having a late spring and the woods is still very open and grey. I then use Mossy Oak Break up or Realtree Hardwoods.
In most all of my setups I try to use natural shadows if I can. Example; never setup with the son in your face. When I can't avoid this, then I will sit in the thickets spot I can find.

i have a one peice 3-d leafy suit, that i spray down with permanone a couple days before the season. the most important peice is the camo head net, its a 3-d leafy full headnet that only has eye holes, also gloves. unless i move, turkey's have no clue i'm there, i love to let'em get only feet away sometimes, now thats exciting!!!

I use the same thing for deer as I do for turkey. Unless I get new camo from Santa.

I don't really pay that much attention. I use Advantage Timber camo for both deer and turkey hunting. When our season opens in mid April it is almost like early fall, but the Advantage Timber camo has enough light and dark in it along with the green leaves and brown leaves it is a good all round camo.
