i have a remington 870 camo turkey gun, with a wally world super full choke. i use remington heavy-shot 3 1/2 #6's. patterned #4, #5, and #6's, using several chokes and the amount of pellets in the kill zone with the #6's was simply amazing. also the cheaper wally world choke, out performed the more expensive name brand chokes.
i guess you dont always get what you pay for!! ;D ;D

I have an old Western Auto ( I think its made by Mossberg) 12 gauge in factory full choke, no choke tube added. i use 3 1/2 inch #4's . last year i shot my bird at a good 50 yards since it was a stalk and time was running out on me with hens all around me. I've yet to miss a bird with the gun. last year i "upgraded " it with camo tape lmao

Well boys, I'm keeping the gun put up this spring for chasing long beards with stick and string. I'm either going to tag my birds with an arrow or have tag soup this spring. I know at times I will likely be wishing I had the old ported 835 shooing Mag Shok #5's out, but this is something I set my mind on back during deer season and plan to stick to it even on out of state adventures.
