Live on the Eastern Shore of MD and dont Waterfowl hunt. Thats gotta be a sin . This year may be the first year though. I am going to take a fella out turkey hunting on his brothers lease, in return he said he would take me out ducking. The guy is a super person and I can't wait to get him a shot at a nice bird. His brother tells me the place is loaded with birds that nobody hunts. Should be interesting. Rick

I shoot a few every year. We got a few duck ponds that fill up with wood ducks in the winter. I usually kill a few mallards and geese, but mainly woodies.

I am in a lease where we hammer the geese every year till they wise up and change fields on us. But by then the migrent birds start comeing in. Potomac Rive is loaded with all kinds of ducks. But I haven't hit the rive in a few years.

a few ducks a year in the swamps of Currituck county, NC. Along with a swan hunt when I draw a permit. The state has a drawing for permits every year(5,000). Swans are easy to decoy. Being big birds they are hard to bring down.

swans are a dark meat. I just cut them in strips and fry it up. Its not bad at all.
Ducks, it depends on what kind of duck it is and what they duck eats.
