My new Jefferies recurve is done. SCturkeyhntr went and ordered himself earlier this week and reported back they were just about finished with her. Im sure glad I was about to break down and start shooting a compound again.

What are the specs and do you have any pics? Also what kind of arrows and heads you gonna push through that?

I havent seen the finished product yet , when I do Ill post a pic asap. Specs are as follows Jefferies Mighty Mag 52 " 48 lbs at 28 " the shop version was pumping a hunting weight shaft right at 190 fps.
Im going to shoot weighted carbon shafts with Magnus 4 blade stingers more than likely. Of course thats all subject to what happens at the bag and what the bow and shooter like.
Im definately not going with cedars , I am not wanting to sacrifice durability and true flight by ignoring good technology. Being that most of my bow adventures this season wil be out of state and away from the bow shop I need a consistant arrow build that I can do in camp or the hotel room. I also need something I can do quickly . So weighted carbon it is .

I still got a while to wait while mine is being built. I hope to have it by June. I ordered the Jefferies Classic 60 in black, 54 lbs at 28". Can't wait to sling some arrows through this thing. This is my first recurve and i'm sure it will take lots of practice.
