My son snatched up this left handed wing recurve for 61 bucks + shipping. New string some beaver ball silencers, new strike plates and seal hair on the shelf with a dose of cleaning and I belive he will have himself a fine bow for close to 100 bucks. Promise you this much , they arent making em like this often anymore and when they do they are 6-10 times that price. He's thinking Maryland deer . ;D

Thats a nice looking stick. I hope it does not take Jefferies as long on my bow as they are yours...just might have to settle for something else if that happens.

nice, I like recurves with large risers.
How about a close up of the arrow rest when you get it setup?
I'm just shooting off a non-rounded shelf and I gotta change that.

That is a Gull model. It is 62 " and 43lbs @ 28 so it should be dropping the string right around 50 at 30 inches which is where my son anchors.
Ive got a redone Bear Polar that I put new seal skin on Bowman I can get a shot of it this weekend. I'll tell you what those old stick on type rests are pretty sweet . Ive shot with and without them , on seal skin shelfs and by far the stick on rests are the ticket for accuracy. Takes a little out in the traditional dept but personally I dont care. If your looking for an off the shelf bow look for a high rounded shape of the shelf it lessens fletching contact.

agree, it also allows the spine of the arrow to load properly for more consistancy.
