Well I've got some of these coming too. I've always viewed them as the Cadillac of arrows and as long as I'm in the process of comparing arrows seems like I ought to include these in the mix. I've always shied away from thse because of the cost and because I like to shoot groups. But I figure I can practise with the Goldtips and hunt with the ACC's taking advantage of the heavier weight. Plus this will really give me the opportunity to do a precise side to side of the skinny HIT sized arrows versus the ICS sized arrows. So we'll put the ACC 3-71s up against the AC Super Slims340's.
Now I know that the rated spine isn't the same, but IMO the ACCs spine a little weak and the Super Slims spine a little heavy so they should spine pretty close.
I'm looking forward to putting them side by side through the paces.

Having found the Super Slims to be slightly more critical, I'm sure looking forward to trying the ACCs.

I fletched up the ACC's and they shot very clean bullets right off at 2 feet and 5 yards with the centershot at 3/4" didn't have to do a thing and I don't think I've ever seen cleaner flight. I then shot that one arrow a dozen times at the same spot. I don't believe the group would have been more than 3/4" this is at 13.5 yards, definitely a tighter more consistent arrow than the Goldtips. Also it is a hair quieter. This is my arrow.

I love these arrows. I've never had an arrow improve my shooting immediately. Did I mention I love these arrows? Because I love these arrows.

eshore are those the CX Hunters or the regular CX300. If it's the regular ones the ACC's will be quite a bit heavier. I don't like being over 280ft/sec. Actually I like it even slower but 280 gets me out to 40 with the pendulum. It's pretty stupid though. I've only taken 2 deer out at 30 yards. But for some reason I still find myself unwilling to give up the distance. Part of it now though is that at the free range at the park they have 40 yards from an elevated position and that practise is just awesome. I think I'm going to bring my 3-d target out there with me this year and set it up in front of the bales and practise different angles out to 40.
Hey how did things work out with the Tribute?

Yeah, I can't see the red pins very well either. The green seem to be brightest. Mine are sequenced green, yellow, red, yellow, green, for 20, 30, 40, 45, and 50 yds. The thought is that there had better be real good light if I'm taking a 40yd shot - in good light I can see the red. In all actuality, it's doubtful that I'd ever take a 40 yd shot at an uninjured deer. Now an elk, well, those suckers are big. Might do that, not that I've ever been around any elk. I understand that it gets increasingly difficult to tune BH's above 280 fps. That speed seems to suit my skills pretty well. It's pretty flat out to 30 yds (only 4" difference between my 20 and 30 yd pins at 30 yds) and I really have no business taking shots on deer past 30.

"whats the adv/disadv of a heavier arrow and why dont you want to go over 280fps?"
280ft/sec is as fast as I need, to get me out there to my max range with the pendulum. Anything over 280 and the shooting becomes more critical for me. The heavier arrow also penetrates better because it retains more KE and has greater momentum. The heavier arrow is also less critical to tune.
