Are on their way. I love tinkering with bows and arrows, but there are a lot of things that I would like to examine definitively. So I went to selling some odds and ends on Ebay and just today raised the funds to do this and placed the order with my dealer. I'll certainly report back on the products themselves, but also examine the bows and a few arrows and give some reports on my findings.

BTW the Hansen scale is to measure draw weight. I have a small digital scale to measure arrow weight too.

I was going to mention the variance in chrono readings but it looks like you got it covered. I'm interested in seeing how you handle the Hansen hookup to the bowstring. It has to be hooked up exactly at the nockpoint for correct readings and on some setups this scews things.

On the hand held scale I hooked it up to the string loop with an arrow nocked for safety. I'll probably have to do the same with the Hansen, but since I can't have an arrow nocked, I'll try on the string between the loop knots and see how that goes. I'm going to set it up in the stairwell so that I can press down on the bow for better control. Which reminds me I need to go to the hardware store and get a 3/8" hook.

I know getting it right can be tricky.

"Have you got it setup yet?"
I set it up about the same time as I got the chrono. I have it setup in the stairwell going to the basement, this way the scale is at eye level so that I can read it accurately. I set the bow on the string between the string loop knots. It's very consistent.
