i like my arrows out a little bit also. never know when the old index finger is gonna get in the way lol. that would make a mess sharp broadheads cut very deep. wow! who tought you boys how to shoot? lol just something i have always thought of . i couldnt imagine the mess if the arrow slipped off as the arrow was released . i doubt i would ever do anything like that but for some odd reason i think about it. by the way that arrow is 27 1/2 , you measure from the insert to the nocking point rookie

If you ever have the broadhead get caught up in the rest, REMEMBER, get the arrow off the string FIRST.

i know your messin with me....but you got to work on it more, your not as good at it as nc. ;D thats why i posted the pics. i really didnt know where you get the actuall length measurment from. i thought it was just the shaft. i got to go measure these beman ics 400's i have. they were my first arrows. theyre like spears. (damn, i just searched that word to see if i spelled it right and all that came up was brittany...some nice pics of her too.)

OK Bowman, I'll bite.... How the heck do you un-nock an arrow while you're at full draw? With your teeth?

OK Bowman, I'll bite.... How the heck do you un-nock an arrow while you're at full draw? With your teeth? Don't know if everyone can do it but I can push the nock off the string with my index (trigger) finger while at full draw. Also the nock can be pushed loose with your chin. I suppose some could bite the arrow around the fletchings and remove it. Of note, if a broadhead is on the arrow, the bow should be turned horizontal as much as possible so the blades doesn't cut the string when it falls free.

Good grief!!! What a deal! 21 arrows for less than a dozen shafts cost. Good find bf.

I love those arrows. The other day I was going to switch from the Goldtips and shoot the 3-71s and I thought, naw that would be cheating, if you can control the Goldtips, you'll be drilling the 3-71s. They are an amazing arrow.

They are an amazing arrow. sorry but i think just the opposite. i believe the goldtips group up way better than the accs. i have far less flyers with the gt's and they stack up right together. the accs fly very smoothly and make les noise but dont stand a chance when a circle is drawn around them imo and from my experience so far.

Rick, what are your specs, draw weight and length and what bow you shooting? Also which GT are you shooting? All I've ever shot were the hunters.
Also what broadheads are you using? The 3-71s and a fixed head are a whole different deal.

65 lb draw, 29 inch draw length, Darton Techfire. I am using the pro hunter 55/75's which weigh less than the accs by 56 grains i believe. i havent shot them with any broadheads as of yet , nor have i actually sighted in a particular arrow since the weights are so different ( this way i hit the target with both), the accs are naturally hitting lower since they weigh more. i have also been experimenting with opening both eyes ( like i used to) so my arrows are hitting left instead of center. i will adjust once i decide what i want to use. here is a pic from 40 yards that is so typical i could show you 20 of them just like it . accs at the bottom gts at the top. i am aiming at the center of the 4 diamonds just like a typical bull.

There's a huge spine difference between the 5575s and the 3-71s. I have to wonder if the 3-71s are coming out clean. Sure looks like the Goldtips are.

not sure whether they are or not. they are actually quieter than the gt's and the penetration is very similar. heres another shot of another set, looks very similar to the first . i'm leaning towards the goldtips
