When rifle shooters want to take the human variables out of shooting they use a bench rest. That way they can focus on making the gun or load accurate, knowing that they've taken themselves out of the equation. I have never heard of doing something similar with a bow, but the idea seems to have merit. How else would you know if it's you, or the bow? There's a thing called the Hooter Shooter but I don't know much about it. It's a machine that shoots bows. Sounds pretty expensive. I'm wondering if there's something more within reach of the "average Joe" that wants to know... "Is it me, or is it the bow?"
Anybody ever try to 'rest' their bow on something for more accuracy?
