By the time I had both bows sighted in decent enough, I was already tired. In addition I'm not shooting well enough to be able to draw definitive conclusions about anything yet. In terms of feel the XT felt like a much more stable bow, in terms of torque. And up close at 20 I was definitely shooting tighter. But by the time I got to 40, I was tired and the familiar feel of the Outback seemed better to me and it is noteworthy IMO that i haven't shot the Outback in months. Also there was a substantial cross wind which I swear seemed to pick up everytime, I picked up the XT. For sure the XT is hitting a couple of inches higher at 40. I did shoot a 3 arrow group at 40 with the ACCs's out of the Outback, but had 2/3 arrows touching and decided that wasn't a good idea. The pics are with the 7595s. This was from an elevated position. So here the first group with the XT at 40: First group with the Outback: Here the XT group is the top right and the Outback is the center group:

The rain finally stopped over here and I got a chance to get back out there this afternoon. Pic of 40 yard elevated target range. No warm up got right to it. XT1: Outback1: XT2: Outback 2: XT3: Outback3: Now I know that it didn't look like it but on the 3rd XT group I started to "feel it", so I decided to let loose on one more group with the XT. XT4: Obviously, my shooting still sucks and I'm still more comfartable with the Outback, but I'm just starting to get a sense of what I'll be able to do with the XT.

Got out there again today, again from 40 yards elevated. XT with GT7595: XT with ACC3-71: XT with ACC3-71: XT with GT7595: Best groups with Outback with 7595s: That second group with the ACCs put an end to shooting groups with the ACCs at that distance. If you look closely there's 5 arrows in that center group. Lots of torn fletching and I didn't want to risk damaging them. I think I'll make up a target with 9 spots and try shooting spots at that distance with the ACCs. It is that consistent of an arrow. The last group I shot with the Outback, was to see how I could do with it, compared to the XT. Still very impressive, that little bow is.

good shootin. Looks like either bow is deadly. I see the ACCs are sinking the fletchings. ;D

His shooting would be even better if he shot 3 arrow sets.
The subcoochie knows arrows will be damaged and won't allow it. ;D

"His shooting would be even better if he shot 3 arrow sets. "
Tom Morava was telling me the same thing this morning. I cut up cardboard today to make spot targets. I'm serious I'm going to try it at 40 with the ACCs. Hell maybe tomorrow.

that is some good groups from 40 . is that the archery range you shoot at or your backyard? the elevated stand is nice. the accs do look like they are getting deeper than the 7595's , gold tips i'm assuming . with my 3 d deer i ussually didnt shoot much past 30, but now with the block i'm gonna stretch it out some this summer. i want to eventually become effecient at 50 yards if possible . I know i wouldnt wanna be a deer walking in front of ya

That is the range at Chain O Lakes State park. It's 45 minutes but it's worth it to me. Plus it's free. I'm providing all the targets as of last week for the elevated range, over there. Trying to get there at least once a week.

That's a nice range but life sure is fickle. As much as you like to shoot, you have to drive 45min to get to the range. As much as I like to trophy hunt, I have to drive a thousand miles to get there.
