I'm still getting out there and shooting the bows but I'm still struggling to get the XT to shoot as well for me as the Outback. I'm stumped because the XT holds so much better. A couple of things. 1. I'm wondering if the Goldtips are moving too fast out of the XT for me to control them, although I haven't examined it extensively, the XT seems more accurate with the ACC's, where as the accuracy does not seem to improve with the ACCs out of the Outback. 2. I'm wondering if maybe I have a little too much mass weight on the XT, or if maybe I don't have the balance quite right?
Any one got any ideas?
I actually sighted in the Outback today with the pendulum and it is ready to hunt. And I also marked the sight for 20 yards on the ground so it's ready for the qualifier. This just seems crazy to me that I'm starting to resolve myself to using the XT as the backup. Thing is that I know that the XT is the better bow, but I haven't been able to figure how to get the best out of it.

Just to illustrate the point further, this is a picture of either the first or second group with the Outback, I tried to take both but I didn't capture one of them, they were both about the same. The last time I shot was 10 days ago on the 7th. That's the thing about the Outback, I don't even have to try with that bow, I can just pick it up and shoot it. Until I can do that with the XT, it's got backup duties. At 40:

good grief, like there is some serious problem. The Outback could be more perfectly tuned than the XT? Probably mucho problem to do but I wonder how the XT would compare with the rest moved forward one inch.

nc, as far as I can tell, both bows are tuned perfect.
It's not that I can't get good groups with the XT, it's just that it's a lot easier with the Outback.
I was talking to Morava about it and I'm thinking it's me, that I can't handle the power. I've always liked staying under 280ft/sec. Here with the XT I've been trying to control 286ft/sec, it may just be too fast for my form or it may be that the spine on the 7595s is not adequate, so that when I don't release perfectly the arrow doesn't recover as fast as on the Outback.
nc, the XT holds rock steady, it's almost like holding a Conquest, so if I didn't see the potential I wouldn't sweat it.
I'll put the Spott Hogg on it and I'll try shooting spots at 40 with teh Acc's and then take it out to the longer ranges and see if I can figure anything out.

I went to the range today, to try and get things figured out with the XT. I tried shooting spots and determined that I cannot focus on spots at that distance, one or 2 spots spaced out is okay but mulitple spots messes me up. I then shot the ACCs and compared the groups with the 7595s(White Nocks) to see if that made a difference and it did slightly but not much. But I realized that it was the back wall of the Outback which was helping me with a cleaner release and so I hold better at the shot with the Outback. So then I started trying different things, squeezing the release, lightly touching off the release, holding the bow very relaxed. Really wasn't getting anywhere. Honestly I was getting real frustrated and in that frustration I grabbed the bow and angrily pulled back and ripped a shot at the target. It drove right in there. I could tell right away that was different. Hmm I thought, so I tried a little more back tension. Pushing forward on the bow and pulling through the release, again ripped it right in there. There's 8 arrows in that group, one was buried deep, not sure it shows in the picture. At 40 yards from an elevated position, I don't believe I've ever shot that good a group. And that group was with the Goldtips. What I'm figuring is that the draw stop on the Outback allows me to get the shot off with out much back tension, but that don't work for me on the XT, I need more tension in the system in order to release it clean. Not sure I'm explaining it right, but it's something like that. I think what I need to do now is put on the Spot Hogg and take it out to 80 meters and burn that form in, now that I've found it.
