The bipolar shooting continues. I shot what must have been my best group ever on Saturday. I put 6 arrows into about 1.5 inches at 40 yds with witnesses looking on. That made it very easy to see that my 40-yd pin was set 2" low. ;D I could close my thumb and forefinger around the group. Next group was back to about 5-6" at 40 yds. Still pretty danged good, but a serious disappointment after the first. I feel like if I could figure out what I'm doing right when it things go right, and I could get consistent I could be on the shooting circuit.

Well you're probably getting close to figuring it. Have someone watch to see if you're creeping. Ask them to watch you peridodically so that you're not always aware of it, or have them watch you for a good bit.

Thanks guys. I'm still clueless about what I do to make a good group comes out of that bow, and more so, why things go bad. One thing for sure, it's nice to shoot the occasional 'wow' 5-shot group because then it's very obvious that your equipment is well tuned, and when things go bad you can only point the finger backwards towards yourself.
