i also found a good purpose for some extra surf rod holders that are actually too short heres a 40 yard set from tonite, not as tight as last night but i centered my sights up some.

Man I wish I had a setup like that. I would benefit so much from daily shooting.

you would have to move the target out for your 80 meter stuff though lol you could even shoot 175 yard shots if ya wanted to . my driveway is just about 600 feet long

Rick - That's really sweet. I like the bamboo holders. I might even steal that idea... You can drill a 1/4" hole right above the segment to let the water drain out.

Makes me homesick. ;D You can also take a broomhandle and punch the bamboo segments out. I had bamboo holders once but my kids were little and beat em up with baseball bats. ;D I went to pvc but maybe now I can put bamboo back out ... until my grandson starts playing baseball. Rick, I can't remember if I 'seeded' that side of your yard or not but I'm quite sure there are little sawtooths coming up in the brush all along the other side of your yard. ;D

NC, I'll have to go over there and take a look, i was wondering why the squills were scurrying about over there this winter . hopefully a few take off. i did salvage one from what you gave me. its coming along nicely in the treetube. Dave , as far as i'm concerned they can bury me out back after its all said and done . unfortunately with the house prices going so high they will eventually tax me outta my own home
