i am looking to get a new sight for my bow. i shot a keller pendulum sight on my old bow for years and really liked it. but i like the fiber optic type sights, so i was thinking about getting the cobra pendulum or adjustable pendulum sight from cabela's. has anyone shot either one of these sights? if so how did you like it?

I use to use pendelums but the modern bows seem to shoot fine with pins so that's the way I've gone.
Pendelums are prone to noise.

I like the Predator IV. It is silent, has very bright fiber optics and with all the adjustibility I can get out to 35 yards easy. I also really like the short range stop so that you maintain accuracy right below the tree.
It's a little more complicated to setup than most pendulums if you're looking to map it out perfect. But I set it up for max range and the setup is pretty quick.
I have one for both of my bows.
A friend of mine has the cobra and I don't see how you'll get past 26-27 yards with that one.

Any pendulum in which the pin is located below the pivot point will not have adequate vertical travel to get you past 30, unless it is an extremely fast bow, say over 300ft/sec. What you need to look for is a design in which the pin is located in front of the pivot point. I can't tell from the picture on their website, how that one works.
