Thanks Rick, top pic was yestertday at the springville dam, its what i call lazy fishing, steelhead are all pooled up at the bottom of the dam, they cant go up stream any farther, when i dont have alot of time i usually go there, its right close to home, the bottom pics from monday over at 18 mile creek, its over closer to lake erie, with deep long rock and shale gorges that go for endless miles. loaded with steelhead, this is one of my favorate creeks to get away from the crowds, its about a 20 mile drive for me, the damn in about another week will look like a fishing convention, with people and out of staters from all over the US, its quite a popular spot, but there are still 40 miles of creek that run back to lake erie that get alot of attention, but this is a popular spot because of how the fish really pile up, pretty kool sight seeing loads of fish jumping up into the dam, fish try like hell to get father up stream, only to keep getting pushed back into the deep pools, pretty neat sight to see!!!!

Yes there is a limit on them NC, 3 perday, most people just do catch and release, so you can have at it all day long, or until the cold gets the better of ya, this is a very fickle sport, and timming is everything, from the color of the water, and how much its rains, sad part is when folks come from long away, they can do nothing except look at the water, because its not fishable, monday when at the other location, water was too clear, prsenting another problem, even though fish are very visable, while you hunt for them along the banks, wearing your polarized glasses, they can see you also, so it gets very tricky, thats why camo cloths and being stealthy on the creek, perfect water color can be the diferance between nailing them like madd, or being fustrated, either way, its a very diferant type of fishing, from the type of rigs folks use, i prefer fly and fly rod, majority of folks use egg sacks, and open face spinners, with a 12 to 14' noodle rod, i see alot of folks useing those new centerpin reels, on a noodle rod, you see alot of diferant setups, either way the goal is to get one of those fighting SOB's on line, most fun you can have with you cloths on, LOL
