fished off the route 50 bridge tonight and got a few flounder on. caught 5 keepers but only kept the 18 inch one, gave it to a friend i was with . caught a 3 foot thresher shark right before leaving , it put up a good fight but was harder to pull up to the bridge to release lol . couldnt get any pics it was just too dark. i'll get some as summer goes along.

Todd , they make a bridge net which is basically a huge round net on a rope that you lower down and scoop up the fish lol. i looked at them and they wanted 30 bucks so i shook my head and went on to the bait section. i just grab the line and pull them up either they make it or they fall . its not really that far maybe 15 feet . first huge striper i get on that falls off i suspect i'll be sporting a $30 net . squid and shiners is working pretty good right now, wish i could keep the shiners on easier, as you cast you see the shiner cruising in its own direction about 50% of the time, that is the only reason i put squid on at least its not an empty hook
