I hunt the Sacramento Game Park in southcentral Nebraska. The pros easy access since I live about 4 miles from the park and have to get up so early since the early bird gets the blind and have actually walked into the middle of two well hidden turkey blinds and have had others walk in front of mine scaring off any turkey within the vicinity.
Another con is that anyone and everyone can go there. You also have kids who go there for paint gun wars, they don't use the park during hunting season but are disrespectful of long standing deer and waterfowl blinds.
The biggest con is that these lands are hunted so frequently due to it being so hard to get access to private lands anymore.

Doug, Welcome to the forum, A few of the guys are on the eastren shore of Md. hunting birds this weekend. I just came in from a hunt and only herd a her. Our public land around here dosn't get hammered much escept for turley hunters. I can see going to a place that will cause me to get pissed off and never knowing for sure that no one will walk up on me. Around here I get allot of privite land to hunt. BTW, you have a very interisting wife. I enjoy talking with her on the ADD forum. I sure wish I could get my wife in the woods. LOL

Hi Dave! Yeah the wife keeps me on my toes. Thanks for the welcome and info on this forum. It is really a neat forum. I would love to be out turkey hunting right now but chicks worked last night so its my turn to hold down the fort so she can get some sleep The hunting has gotten alittlle better since there is only one way in or out. It eliminated a lot of those drunk road hunters during deer season.
