I walked a couple of acres on the Md eastern shore this spring and thought I'd share some pics of some of what I saw. All these pics came from public land that anyone can bowhunt for the price of the licenses.
I can tell you straight up that I've been to many places in our great land bowhunting whitetails and I've yet to see public land so thick with deer as the eastern shore. Sign is abundant throughout the entire region and I had no problem finding sign of still living mature bucks in several places.
For those out west considering whether Md is worth the expense, it is. I guarantee one trip will bring you back for more.
btw, if I didn't think there is plenty good huntin for everyone without threat to my plans, you better believe I wouldn't be posting this on the internet.
