Hey all..I was wondering if anybody had any public land in Central to Northern Jersey that has some does? I am lookin to take another one and was in need of a place to do it. I have shot a # of deer this year and dont want to take anymore off my propertys.I bowhunt only! Thanks Dave

I've never hunted New Jersey , but looks like there is lots of public land there. 300,000 plus acres of wildlife management areas which to me are the best places because they ussually have crops not just timber. look here to see if any are close www.state.nj.us/dep/fgw/wmaland.htmthen make sure you are allowed to hunt deer on the particular one that is closest or you think interests you. here is the link to the ones open for whitetail hunting. www.state.nj.us/dep/fgw/huntland.htmby the way you own the land no need to ask to hunt it . thats the great thing about public land, with a little research the potential is endless . many states have more than ample public land and it looks like NJ has a good bit for it's size. not sure where you actually live but i'll bet theres some public land real closeby. fish and wildlife link www.state.nj.us/dep/fgw/
