Speaking of glue...a lot of guys swear by Gorilla glue for really tough jobs. Elmers has one out called Ultimate Glue that I'm almost positive is the same thing but a whole lot cheaper. I looked at an $8 tube of Gorilla and the same size of Elmers was only $4 at Home Depot. I've only used it a couple of times but so far it's good stuff.
They're both polyurethanes and the directions for use are almost the same. Both need a damp surface for best adhesion.

gee thanks Dick. I just bought a bottle of Gorilla glue a few days ago. ;D I've got a nasty repair job to do on the front of a drawer in my kitchen and was needing some good glue. My dad built all the cabinets back in '59 and although of good quality, they've seen a lot of use. The drawer is made of plywood and I repaired it once with small corner brackets on the inside. Now someone has managed to seperate the plywood itself in re breaking it. If certain someones wouldn't put 50 pounds of knives and stuff in one drawer, I wouldn't have these problems.

Have fun with the gorilla. you can have mine if you want it NC. LOL
Their are glue's and then there is glue!
Gorilla will work, but their is a little clean up after. That kind of clean up cost me time which is money.
Hyde Glue works great , it's a little losser but if you work it in 15min's on each piece and then fassen together most of the time you only need type to hold till dry Then their are the apoxy's , 2 min, 5 min , 1 hour These suckers are the tanks of glues. Contact cement, only one problem ; got to be right the 1st time ! can't screw up here or it will cost ya.
