we've finally worked all the way around the house. Here's what it looked like late this morning before the showers caught us. We worked on thru the rains as dangerous as it was and got it all torn off and felted in. My feet were pruned up pretty good after being sopping wet all afternoon. Yesterday and today were the hardest days work I've done in a long time. Have had 3 guys quit on this job and now it's just my son and Marty helping me along. Sitting here now paying the price, I seriously wonder how long I can keep doing these steep ones.

Those steep ones are a good part of the reason I'm no longer a roofer. Around here, you probably wouldn't work in the rain more than once. When it rains here, the water is COLD. You can't stay out in it without rain gear. A summer rain here will usually drop the temperature 20 degrees, at least for a while.

NC, I thought you were done in the 1st pic LOL my bad. That roof has a pitch like mine. Next time I need it done I'll call you and do it durring the hunting season so you can have a productive trip either way.
