ahhh, it's not that bad. I had to cut the plywood back some more as the rotted sheathing went on up the wall some and wound up using about a sheet and a half in the bottom pic repair. The wall rafter required 2 scabs to get one full length because of the joist in the way. I scabbed above the joist with a 5 ft 2x4 and came back over that one with another 2x4 to reach the facial board. The other rafter was easier, just nailing another 3ft 2x4 along side. Cut some 1/2 cd plywood to fit and good to go. I didn't get into the facia as it's all covered and will leak no more. Outta sight outta mind. I'll show the pics to the customer when I present the bill and explain the deal. I doubt she'll want me to take the gutter down and dig the facial out as it's involved there and looks ok from the ground. How much would you expect the bill would run for what we did in the bottom pic? 2 sheets plywood, 2 stud length 2x4s, materials used. I didn't take pics during the progress of the work as it was hot and I wasn't thinking about this thread. ;D

Kind of reminds me of a flat roofed add-on that I fixed one time. My partner walked across it and his foot went through the asphalt. Luckily, he didn't go through the ceiling. Turned out that they'd sheathed it with particle board and you know what that does when a roof leaks.
