I rented one to cut the grown up back yard at my rent house and figured I'd hit the food plot up in Gates Co too this weekend. Got the weekend special, if you call getting ripped a special. $80 +tax if I pick it up today between 3:30 and 4:00 and have it back by 8:00 Monday morning. The guy bets that folks won't be there at 8 Monday morning so he can charge for another day... and this guy has that unique ability to go from friendly to total asshole at the tick of the clock. ;D I'm happy though as he bought his nice new EPDM roof from me a few months back. That job was a blessing for without it I'd have been in dire straights.

I always wondered how not so easy they were. they make it look like a piece of cake on tv. I kind of figured they sorta kick your tail. looks to me like he is thinking:" i know you gotta have someone you know with a tractor and a brushhog "

They are work to use, but they cut where brushhogs can’t go. I use one several times per year.

Yup, it cuts where no other machine can cut, except a mag weedeater with a chainsaw tooth blade. just got back home after a solid 8hrs behind it. Wet, cold, and my hands are kinda jjjj jittery right now. ;D I have a couple of pics I'll post once I get em loaded.
