In the last week between SCturkeyhntr and myself weve seen seven coyotes around my neighborhood during broad daylight. Unusually high yote activity lately.Makes a guy want to get the traps out.LOL

It's been several years since I've seen one around here. I think the deer hunters running dogs keep em thinned.

Saw two more and a bobcat today . Damned predators gone wild. My son called one in this morning to twenty feet . He was stalking the hen deke when he picked up his scent and bolted. The other was cruising a ditch behind the house.
I think the abundance is a direct result of the legalization of live selling yotes myself. We have several fox pens close to the areas were seeing them in . I think the yotes are testing the security of the pens. Dont bother me none , I dont mind catching ,selling than recatching and reselling them a bit. LOL

They are coming to a neighborhood near you !
Fat chance you'll stop them , in fact , you deifnately wont. Yotes are known to adjust litter size in exchange for hunting pressure. The harder you hunt em the more pups they have. LOL Good luck .
Might want to thin down the competition ( wild dogs) now before they arrive. At least the yotes belong , all those strays now , thats just human trash in the woods.
Ive never been against any animal being present that occurs naturally in histirically classic proportions to the other species. I dont have a problem with yotes being in my woods but its becoming obvious that theres a major increase happening and I can only attribute that to the new live sell laws.

Years ago at Beshers there were larg packs of wild dogs that would attack hunters , walked and who ever ventured into the area. The park police got together and with other groups and erraticated them. It was a errie feeling sometimes walking out there in the dark.
