Is it the pic or does that one have a whole lot more 'bow' in the top than the other one. Lookes like the rods are attached with screws too. I liked the way you hooked the other one. Really looked good. I set mine up when I got back and we finally got enough rain for it to leak again so I could study the cause of the problem. The weatherstrip flap needs replacing but that ain't the real cause. It looks like the top on the bed ends is sagged just enough in the middle to be a problem on both ends. The fix is easy enough to see, I just have to find the right type of clamp to pull it up on setup. If it had one of the hook clamps right in the middle I think it would be fixed. I haven't got into the roof rods yet. Been dogging myself so hard working, I've been too exhausted to get into it. Gotta get busy though, the season will be here soon enough.

this roof did arch more than any i have ever seen. it measures the same all the way down her now though so it may have been arched that much originally or they changed the roof which is unlikely.the other way i attached through the aluminum edge also. this method uses screws but is ok also, when you drill through the 2 layers of steel in the roof supports you will see what i mean, if that screw bit into both layers it wont go nowhere. i found the bent end variety very hard to get into the 1/4 inch holes, these use 1/8 th inch holes and screws. check right in the corners of the windows for cracked abs where the stress cracks were. in this remodel it is where all the bedend water came from. cindy will give it the final test before sale, i think i got them all. i mixed abs and M.E.K and let the mek melt the abs into a goo.. i then used a butter knife to apply it to the cracks. once dried it bonds with the original abs. the experts recommend a small drill bit hole at the end of the crack to stop it before filling.i'll post pics, i mixed some today. my patches arent the prettiest but with some sanding are acceptable but they seem to be very strong and do stop the leaking.

oh as a sidenote the abs welder just seemed to melt the camper before melting the plastic welding rods , it is worthless at the time, hope i can figure it out but the goo works ok for now
