i dont believe so either, just kids have to wear them i think. i tend to wear one when i'm around the kids just to show them its ok . i do know that if you ride the rural roads without some kind of headgear ..you'll be swatting blackflies the whole time. they can bug the living crap outta ya dive bombing into your hair .

as far as public hunting land goes, some places they are allowed others they arent supposed to be used, due to erosion so they say , yet they allow atvs in some places too, but they are very restrictive about the atv's . its best to try and find out exactly where they are and arent allowed or just play the dummy card if caught .

A guy gave me some little dealys you put on the back of your cap. It has sticky on it and when one lands, he's stuck. Really works too.
Old saying around here is first big rain in July drowns them. Must be something to it because each summer all of a sudden they disappear.
I'm trying to take a break from work and run up there for a day or two and look around some more. I noticed some of the Ches Forest paths are cabled and a bike would work well to get back in some areas.
Also it would confuse Todd if he tries to home in on my truck for good hunting spots. ;D
