I normally don't go for these things ... BUT ... I have a friend that runs a guide service near here and he tells me this stuff is a product that does far in excess of what it advertises. He's got deer and bear tearing the place up where he's hung this stuff out. www.bag-a-buck.com/

after seeing and tasting the stuff first hand, i went ahead and purchased 3 . the stuff was salty sweet and tasted like caramel popcorn to me, i could see why they would want to keep coming back. Anyhow after buying them online yesterday i get a call from one of the fellas who made the product. he wanted to know where i had heard of it and where i lived. he wants feedback from the results i get from them and explained to me his money back guarentee , if you dont think it works or dont like the results send it back and you get a total refund. dont get much better than that. they havent had to use it yet .we talked for quite a spell and he was quite a nice guy. i believe he had told me these were the first to be going to MD. so i'm going to put one near the house out back so i can get to it easily. put another somewhere down snowhill and not sure about the third just yet. i'll post up some results once i get them

I'm headin out in just a bit to check the one I hung several weeks back. I almost expect to see blood stains in the path from a rifle hunter that has cut the area off. We'll see.

well I guess I hid it too well because the deer haven't found it yet. I kind of stuck it back in a pocket so other hunters wouldn't spot it. Since there is a trail about 20yds away and I figured they'd smell it and start working it but nary a deer track was under it. Looks like the gun hunting pressure has them backed off using that block of woods like they were earlier too.

its been a week and it doesnt look like mine has had any action yet. however i put the sawtooth acorns out sunday evening and they were all gone, every single one. i couldnt find any and i looked real hard. they tore them things up. i had throw some in some pretty thick places and they ate every one of them . i need about 10 buckets of those suckers.

squirrels find em and it don't take long for em to be gone. Did you see deer sign where the acorns were? You're going to have to be on the lookout for sawtooth landscape specimens to get 10 buckets. I'm thinkin about holdin some of mine back till late season. I bet some acorns found in late December would be quite the talk in the deer community up there.

some had been eaten by the deer, but i believe the squirrels got the bulk of them. i was pretty surprised at how good they cleaned them up

A Victor Rat Trap or two makes short work of the squirrels but you have to wire the traps to something or sometimes they wind up in the trees. Squirrels are good to eat too and trapped ones aren't all shot up.

i went out and checked my bag a buck today. it appears as though they have found it. let the pawing begin. i may have to help it along some if we dont get some rain on it regularly. a few have definitely found it though . maybe the acorns got them there.

It may absorb enought moisture at night to 'leak' a little in the mornings.

I checked mine this afternoon and the deer have been tearing the ground up under it. I think I may move it a little as they're into the treeroots now.

i went and checked mine yesterday. i found it swinging wildly lol. a squirrel was hanging upside down on it licking the bottom of the bag . it scrambled when it saw me. i checked the bag and it wasnt biting the bag any. the deer and other critters were hitting it though. i am going to put one by the house so i can watch it out the kitchen window.

Rick, Have you checked the spots lately? I've noticed a shift in the deer habits in the last week.

I can't believe you don't have one hanging in the edge of the cutover from your kitchen window. You could be watching your herd every evening. and the big buck will protect that spot well into fall.
