Good find! You gonna sell it back to me for $201? ;D Actually $200 is still to much in my current financial situation.

I just looked at the bid history. Did you have to go up until you found the reserve price? Must've wanted it pretty bad huh?

yeah, I had to chase the reserve at the end. I exchanged a couple of messages with the seller during the bidding and found he was set on his price. He knows how much they are worth as he has 6 other buckshots. I'll find out if he wants to sell another one if you like. I had two discussions with my wife about it, trying to get her to talk me out of it but noooo, she was all for it. ;D "You don't want to get a thousand miles from home and have your stand break!!!" I didn't tell her I always take a backup anyway. Dan, I think if you ever get one and use it, you'll be well pleased. They take a little longer to hookup to a tree than some stands but that rock solid confidence is well worth a few minutes when shifting around to get a shot off without making any noise. I've got a favorite search on them at ebay. If I see another, I'll let you know.

In the end I'm sure I will get one. Current finances won't let me do it right now. I know the longer I wait the more I will pay though. Sort of a catch 22. Maybe next year.

Yeah, I was swinging back and forth on buying yet another climber when I really need lightweight climbing sticks more but the more I looked and thought about it ... well, I went for it. I've been real fortunate lately getting tipped on four jobs in a row, including one for 500 bucks. Got my bills at least caught up with a little left over. If not for that I couldn't have even considered the stand. Probably should have saved it for gas/toll money on these upcoming trips but I get big eyes sometimes.
