I got to lookin at the wool pants Dick referred to and decided to order a pair. I been wearin the sportsmans guide swede stuff when it gets real cold and they can rub me raw on the hips after a couple of days, even wearing longjohns. I figure another pair can't hurt and the price is right on. The real reason for the order though is to get another lightweight jacket. I usually just wear one of my work uniform jackets under my camo but the quilting is getting a little thin on them and although they look fine, a windy cold day gets airish quick. After looking in the master catalog I decided on a Windshear fleece jacket. I can layer under it as need be and I usually have camo coveralls on outside so maybe I can keep from shiverin too bad. on sale too.

Remember, I never said that those pants were PRETTY. They say to dry clean only but I wash them in cold and hang dry. Don't let them in the same room with heat or they'll shrink like crazy. I have 2 pairs that I've been wearing for more than 5 years. They last but they get uglier every year. Dick

Well the pants look great to me. Much better than the SG ones. I may have to get some more of em, cept the waste is a little tight. Maybe I can get these altered for a little more room. The jacket was a mistake. I'm sending it back. Size large is extra large and worse, it's just waaay too noisy for me. Would be fine for a fri night football game but not for drawing on a deer at 10yds. The membrane makes some noise but the fabric to fabric noise is a 5 on a 1 to 10 scale. They figured out a way to make fleece noisy with this one.
