Nice boots....and reasonably priced.
I had a pair of Thom McCan boots similar to the ones you have displayed. They were 400 gram thinsulate, so lightweight I couldn't tell I had them on, and one of the warmest pair of boots I ever had. They finally blew out year before last and I tried to find another pair just like them.....but no luck. I might have to check those out. Let us know how warm they are if you get a pair NC.

400 grams should be good as long as its not too cold and your moving. they look very comfortable lol, i've been looking at these for a few years . dont they just remind you of a "hunting tennis shoe" ? i'll have to double check but i may end up going right by the cabelas in wheeling lol right by my rear . i'll have to stop if i do. the rubbers do suck for just scouting or stalking, they tend to rub and make noise while walking

They look like a lace-up version of the moon boots that were popular back in the 70's. They were warm and very soft but only good for trail hiking. In rough stuff they were worthless. With laces, they should be more sturdy.
