;D I shot this doe yesterday evening but didn't recover her till this morning. I should get extra for ticks and redbugs. I'm wrapped up. I'll post the story in my journal later on.

Todd did an excellent job in his setup and reading of the sign and food. then he put a great shot on it with the bonus of getting to watch it go right down. don't get any better. i'll let him go for not seeing my flying v notch in the ear indicating it was reserved for a future year lol it was a 6 pointer witha broken brow tine. so it is officially a 5 pointer. the spread was 9 3/8 inches

shot a doe at 4:30 this evening with the 30-06. its sort of a tradition for me to hunt this spot on the last rifle day. bout wore the hide off of her dragging her out, about 2 miles lol it sucks being alone when you need a picture .

thanks, funny you think you could just pick up a rifle and fill up the freezer... not the case at all. i have no idea where they go, but they sure are good at what they do .
