Is it ok to hold back a doe from the contest until later OR to replace an existing doe entry with another later? reason; ML season opens for a week here tomorrow and bowhunting isn't allowed during ML season. Since archery kills score better, naturally I'd rather enter bowkills, should I be lucky enough to kill that many, but that may not happen. If I kill a doe with a ML, should I withhold it from entry?

nc, it doesn't really apply to you since only your traditional kills can be entered anyway. But it is a good point that should be clarified for the rest of us.

I see no reason to hold out on a doe , you can replace does as well as bucks to get the maximum amount of points available. a late january bowkill can replace any other doe that has already been entered . the rules have been changed to read this. deer also must be posted as early as possible ie no hording of kills and entering them all at once at the end , this I believe is against the spirit of the contest and teets should be at least 2 " in length, but this only pertains to Todd

should'nt Todd get extra points for catching the deer and putting a rope around her head before hey shot it? and also as far as the teets go what about one with milk on its mouth?

rotflmao ;D Gosh your killing me, my stomach is hurting im laughing so hard. I have to have a laso set up under my feeder, so when they go to eat it trips and pulls the rope tight.
