well congrats, what a fine bow. That's a beauty. Plenty of length, good poundage, and a proven performer, it has it all. I can't believe how much fun I'm having with my recurve and it's a good thing too. I really gotta shoot often to do anything at all with it. ;D oh, you might as well find a good stringer to protect the investment. I haven't bought one yet but I've been watching this. Selway bow stringerHot dog!!! We're gonna have some fun times. Those easy deer we been passin take on a whole new look now. Walt ? ? ? ;D

Its gonna take some practice thats for sure. i may have to cheat and get out the tape and pin trick starting out . now it opens up a whole new realm of "stuff" to buy lol. like a bigger target it looks to be well taken care of and the owner says i will be very pleased with it. Now for some nice cedar arrows maybe , i'll start with my gold tips though.

Start out shooting close. 5-10 yds max. trust your instinct. Get your brain out of the way and shoot. You don't use a sight to throw a baseball do you? Point at the target and drop the string. That will get you close. Practice is what refines that. Just believe in yourself and it'll work. Traditional shooting is so much more mental than mechanical. good luck and have fun. DON'T even consider the tape and pin as an option.
