He shut-down and deleted the two existing muzzleloader forums and has started a new one that is fully moderated (i.e. your posts only show up after he reviews & approves them). This was once one of the premier muzzleloading forums in the country. Gone, gone, gone.
He's off the deep-end.
I'm a quarter inch from being outta there. It's too bad. I've met alot of good people and learned a good many things on that web-site over the years.

Isn't that where we all hooked up initially? I haven't been there in a long time.

Yep. That's the place, although Field & Stream used to have a pretty active forum and I knew a few folk there that moved on the HuntAmerica after F&S self-destructed.

I'll be very upfront here with what i think of over there. i believe its one of the grouchiest , argumentative sites i have ever been on . i read over there and post very rarely . seems theres lots of folks over there who sit around lurking , waiting to jump on someone who is either offbase or incorrect in their posts. its not the friendliest site on the block thats for sure. it may have been different back some but its a disaster imo right now and has been. i hope this site never approaches the mean spiritness that exists there. if the mods or anyone over here ever acted like they do i'd shitcan em . calling bullshit on someone and being mean are two different animals imo. lots of mean over that way

Right now some of the guys over there are attempting to take me on over the 'Pack of Lies' thread I pasted. I've gotten to know Swamp fairly well and I know for a fact he has better things to do than babysit a forum. That may be why the whole ML thing was dumped.

That's why I post a lot over there.
There's a good supply of posters that could think a little deeper if we break the ground for em. ;D

Double A doesn't realize we're already there. Smoking ban with kids in car signed 15 bills still await Blanco's signature Friday, July 07, 2006 By Jan Moller www.nola.com/news/t-p/capital/index.ssf?/base/news-4/1152252191191230.xml&coll=1BATON ROUGE -- Smoking in a car or truck where there are children will soon become a costly proposition in Louisiana under legislation signed this week by Gov. Kathleen Blanco. The governor signed House Bill 1010 by Rep. Gary Smith, D-Norco, which allows police to ticket drivers who are smoking in vehicles with children 12 and younger. Starting Aug. 15, violators will face fines of up to $150 or a minimum of 24 hours of community service. Violations will be considered a nonmoving offense, so tickets will not appear on a driver's operating record. The bill was among 31 measures Blanco signed into law this week. She has signed 843 bills and has 15 remaining to sign, veto or allow to become law without her signature.
