Brunswick Stew Recipe Makes 10 gallons 1 xlarge hen......or 4 fryers 4 boston butts ( also add a couple rabbits or squirrel's if available) 1.-3 gallon cans of tomatoes 2.-5 med. onions diced 3.-4 to 6 oz. of sugar 5.-1/2 gallon ketchup 6.-1 lb. real butter 7.-2 gallons of creamed corn salt Cayenne pepper black pepper save all of hen broth and for the pot cover meat with water, boil off the bone,and remove bones,adding stuff in order as obove....KEEP STIRRING THE POT ......add corn last ...about 1 hour prior to finishing cooking also at the end--------add 1 Dixie cup ( pun intended) of Red Rooster Hot sauce...........enjoy Brunswick Stew was 1st made in Brunswick Georgia at the Coastal Hunting Camps
