pretty typical for this area as a whole. by the way this deer was taken on public land . funny thing was he slept in on the first morning and didnt go in until around 1 in the afternoon. he shot this deer at 2:30 pm. the following monday morning at 8 am is when he saw the biggun. he wonders if it had been different if he had gotten up on time . Does your brother live in the same areas as you? What does he do for a living?

Yes , He lives in Salisbury just west of here, he shot this deer on public land, a small piece located between two private farms. Very Few people even know about this place, but there is some really nice deer in there. very low and swampy land adjacent to the pocomoke river. this place is nearly always flooded or holding some water, and is tiny small like 200 acres maybe less. We have an agreement that once he starts hunting , I stay outta the place till he is done for the year lol.

Thanks for the congratz guys; but it's true...the one I saw on Monday made him look small! It's prolly the one that broke off my boy's antler whippin on him earlier in the season. I've been chasin that ole boy for 3 years now and if he's still alive he will be mine this year...yea right Been huntin the same little spot on the ground with no tree stand; no scope; just me and my bucket I sit on for 10 years at least; and have only seen one person...paradise except it's close enough to the road to hear cars goin by. kinda takes away from the solitude but this spot produces for me...just gotta go in knowin I'm gonna get soaked...very swampy but it's ok with me

welcome to the site jim and awsome buck. i like swampy, keeps other people out. maybe with all the hurricanes they're forecasting for this year youll need a boat instead of a bucket to sit in.
