Do your feet scream "THANK YOU" when you take them off?
Does it feel so good taking one off that you wait a while before removing the other one because you know that's going to feel good too?
;D

Not at all NC, I make sure my boots fits, LOL. My problem is getting them off, with high arches it becomes a little tricky if I sweet.

depends on the particular day were talking about. if its hot and the feet start to overheat i cant wait, other days i just cant wait to get them off . actually i have adjusted better than i thought i would, hard to wear turkey hunting but soon i may have to, the ticks are hatched out big time and even permanone does so much. each year they get worse i think.

Don't know, never had a pair. But, I will tell you this, if I did you wouldn't want to be around when I took them off!! Looked at getting some last year, but decided just to stick with my Rockies one more year.

Rockys are my pick also for upland hunting but we have lots of swamps and 10" Rockys don't cut it in 12" of water. Also I think flatland deer are much more nose oriented where upland deer use their eyes more. Ticks are an important issue too. Easier to keep them at bay with rubber boots and permanone. Gettin soft in my old age though because my feet usually hate rubber boots by the end of the day.

I started using the Mickey Mouse boots maybe 5 years ago in the late season for their warmth. But even though they are heavy, the construction is such that they have a very nice ride and comfortable fit, so I wear them all season now.
And as far as the warmth with a moisture wicking sock and a thick wool sock, I don't even use foot warmers anymore and I was out there in sub 10 degree weather plenty of times last year.

thanks for reminding me. I'm suppose to be watching for boot blankets on ebay but have been slack for too long. Good wool socks over wicking socks make a big difference. A cheap undersock that works real well is those stretch dress nylon socks but they are terrible about collecting and holding odor, not that it matters down in the boot but they are 'one day only' socks. I have some other wicking socks that can be worn two days if the weather is cool. Living out in the field for weeks on end makes a guy want to make his clothes last. Twice last year in Ohio I hit the laundramat after the day's hunt and they wouldn't let me wash clothes. (too late ) I finally gave up and drove all the way to a walmart superstore and bought new socks, drawers, and sweatpants for longjohns. Of course, then it rained for several days so I let the rain wash my dirty stuff for free but I had already spent maybe $70 bucks I could have saved. Considering the laundry didn't jack me for ten bucks or more, at least that's a good trade. btw, those folks that own the laundrys in McConnelsville, Ohio will go a while before I cast a shadow on their places again. Same people seem to own both stores and have all the charm of a cold rock, at least that's my experience. I guess they figure folks can't go anyplace else but that don't work with a free bird. ;D

After tying a deer to my tree stand, putting the stand on my back, and dragging a deer a mile outta the woods, taking that stand off my back feels way better than taking my boots off. The boots are next in line though. ;D

I'm not sure Twanger can even get rubber knee boots on. Have you seen the size of his legs?

I spent 3 mornings in mine and I was very comfortable. My only problem is , sometimes my feet swell a little and then it hard to get them off. But their very comfortable. Easy walking in and light weight.
