I tried the JV a long time ago , it wasn't as hard to get as it is now. they sold it everywhere back a few years . its some powerful stuff it is. I've been looking at the rivers west stuff seriously . its high dollar but the samples i have are something else. talk about windproof, try taking a breath through the fabric.... it can't be done. I figure a couple layer and the jacket and pants and i could be lightweight yet warm. why the comfirt track vs the duratrac? didnt you like the duratracs or was it an insulation issue. I've been looking at the 800 gram pinnacle cabelas boots but the stash is only so big .

Rivers West is really nice. I'm gonna have to wait on that though. The only thing I don't like about it is the camo patterns.
Todd, what'd you do, order the scents over the phone?

yeah alan i ordered it over the phone. rick it was a total insulation issue. i think they're pretty similar as ricky has the comfort track. cant wait to get the kwikee hi riser. i hate that my arrows stick out past the bottom cam.

hey rick, have you tried out the lacrosse alpha burley sport boots, they have them at gander mountain. i have a pair of the uninsulated ones, they are a bit pricey, but just try a pair on next time your at GM. its like you have your favorite pair of old tenners on your feet.

The stuff from James River arrived today. I wondered why the 'knockout' bear lure was in a sealed package until I opened it. My wife was in another room and yelled soon as I cut the seal. ;D I mean this rotten odor permeated the entire house instantly. I haven't even opened the cap yet, better save that move. If you owe a payback, this knockout stuff is for you. whew!!!

No doubt Todd is the Man. Also I figured that if a bunch of us try it under various settings, we can all report back and get a clearer measure of its effectiveness.

Israel put some WallHanger on a overhanging limb at the edge of a field down the road yesterday evening and had two come out but he started shooting too soon and apparantly missed 5 times. He had fun whammin and banging though. ;D Called me on his cell very excited and said, 'That stuff really works!!!'
